El Futuro de Lego Dimensions

La última oleada del año 2 de Lego Dimensions ya salió. Todas la franquicias del año 2 ya salieron. Ahora solo queda esta pregunta ¿Qué sigue después? Cuando se lanzó este increíble juego, el equipo detrás de esto prometio 3 años de oleadas con diferentes franquicias. Se supone que el año 3 va a salir, pero hay rumores de cancelación de Lego Dimensions. ¿Tu qué crees que suceda?

Lego Dimensions es mi videojuego favorito y no quiero que llegue a un fin. A continuación estás las razones por las cuales se generó este rumor:

1. Empuje de fechas

Después de que la oleada 7.5 saliera en febrero la oleada 8 (Lego City, Hermione, Goonies) saldría el 21 de marzo de este año. Pero los planes cambiaron, la oleada 8 salió hasta mayo. Aquí es donde los rumores de la cancelación empezaron a surgir. Normalmente una oleada de Lego Dimensions sale entre 1 y 3 meses después de la anterior. La oleada 9, que recientemente salió, se lanzó hasta septiembre. Si la oleada 8 salieran como debería de ser en marzo, la oleada 9 saldría en mayo o junio. Pero como se recorrió tuvimos que esperar un largo verano para que saliera. Después llega septiembre, donde se supone que el año 3 empezaría, pero no fue así.

2. Cambio de planes

Cuando salió la primer actualización del año 2, había 6 espacios de Level Packs: 1 de Misión Imposible, 1 de Hora de Aventura, 1 de Sonic, 1 de los Goonies, y los otros 2 estaban planeados según filtraciones para Beetlejuice y Las Chicas Superpoderosas. Pero después de la actualización de la oleada 7.5, misteriosamente desaparecieron 2 espacios de Level Packs, el de Beetlejuice y Las Chicas Superpoderosas. ¿Por qué desaparecieron? Probablemente TT Games ya no quieren seguir con Lego Dimensions y quieren enfocarse en otros juegos, por eso ya no quisieron sacar esos 2 Level Packs.

3. Menos ladrillos de oro

Con la misma actualización que redujo el número de Level Packs también se redujo el número de ladrillos de oro. La diferencia es mucha, ya que son 56 ladrillos menos. Según rumores iba a haber un 4º Story Pack. Ese Story Pack no se sabía de que sería. Entonces entre ese Story Pack y los Level Packs menos se suman 36 ladrillos. Los 20 ladrillos restantes no se sabe donde estarían. Antes habían 1068 ladrillos de oro y después solo 1016 ladrillos de oro.

4. La minifigure de Lord Vortech

Lord Vortech es el principal villano de Lego Dimensions, según filtraciones una minifigure de él saldría en el juego y sería un personaje que puedas usar. Después se filtró que este personaje vendría en un Fun Pack. Este Fun Pack formaría parte del año 2. Ahora que ya salió la última oleada del año 2 nunca salió Lord Vortech. Como mencione anteriormente, esto puede deberse a que TT Games ya no quiere enfocarse en Lego Dimensions.

5. El género Toys-To-Life está llegando a su fin

Por si no lo sabían, yo era un fan de Disney Infinity, de hecho fue mi videojuego favorito antes del Lego Dimensions. En mayo del 2016 Disney Infinity tristemente fue cancelado oficialmente. Después Skylanders dejó de sacar juegos este año, prometiendo un juego móvil sin la necesidad de muñecos. Entonces prácticamente solo queda Lego Dimensions. La gente está dejando de invertir en este tipo de juegos porque sale muy caro. Por eso llegaron a un fin Disney Infinity y Skylanders. Como los otros 2 juego, a Lego Dimensions le está sucediendo lo mismo.

CONCLUSIÓN:

Esas son las razones por la que surgieron estos rumores. Lo más probable es que ya no haya un año 3. La buena noticia es que los videojuegos de Lego van a seguir saliendo durante muchos años, aunque fuera del género Toys-To-Life. Pues eso es todo lo que se. También fuentes confiables lo han confirmado.

When this awesome game launched, the team behind this promised 3 years of waves with different franchises. Lego Dimensions is my favorite video game and I don't want it to finish. Here are the reasons of why the rumor was created:

1. Dates were pushed

After wave 7.5 released in February, wave 8 (Lego City, Hermione, Goonies) was supposed to be released on March 21st this year. But plans changed, wave 8 released until May. There's when all the cancellation rumors started. A Lego Dimensions wave normally releases between 1 and 3 months from the last one. The wave 9, which recently was released, came until September. If wave 8 was released in March, like it should be, wave 9 would be released in May or June. But the release date was pushed so we had to wait a long summer for it to get released. September was supposed to be the month in which year 3 would be released, but that didn't happened.

2. Plans changed

When the first year 2 update was released, there were 6 spots for Level Packs: 1 from Mission Impossible, 1 from Adventure Time, 1 from Sonic, 1 from Goonies, and the other 2 were planed to be for Beetlejuice and The Powerpuff Girls. But after the wave 7.5 update, mysteriously 2 spots from Level Packs were dropped, the one for Beetlejuice and The Powerpuff Girls. Why they disappeared? Maybe because TT Games don't want to focus in Lego Dimensions and want to focus in the games, that's why they didn't released those 2 Level Packs.

3. Less gold bricks

With the same update that dropped the Level Packs spots, the number of gold bricks was reduced. The difference was big, there were 56 gold bricks less. Rumors told us that there was going to be a 4º Story Pack. We don't know of what it was supposed to be. So between that Story Pack and the Level Packs dropped, they have the total of 36 bricks. The other 20 bricks we don't know where they were supposed to be. Before there were 1068 gold bricks and after only 1016 gold bricks.

4. The Lord Vortech minifigure

Lord Vortech is the principal villain from Lego Dimensions, it was leaked that he would make an appearance in the game and would be a playable character. After, it was leaked that he would be a Fun Pack. That Fun Pack would be part of year 2. The last wave from year 2 already released and Lord Vortech never was released. Like I mentioned before, maybe this happened because TT Games don't want to focus in Lego Dimensions.

5. The Toys-To-Life genre is coming to an end

In case you didn't know, I was a Disney Infinity fan, it was my favorite video game before Lego Dimensions. In May 2016 Disney Infinity sadly was cancelled officially. After that, Skylanders stopped producing games this year, promising a mobil game without toys. So practically only Lego Dimensions is left. People stop waisting money in this games because they are too expensive. That's why Disney Infinity and Skylanders ended. Like the other 2 games, Lego Dimensions is going on the same way.

CONCLUSION:

Those are the reasons of why the rumors started. Most probably there will not be a year 3. The good news are that Lego video games will continue releasing for many years, but without the Toys-To-Life figure. That's all I know. Also many reliable people say the game will be canceled.
